As we move through these unusual times together, we would like to share an exciting update for Room to Renew.
For those of you who might not be familiar with Room to Renew, the mission of the nonprofit Jeff and I created is to provide respite for caregivers with a renovated room in their home, to create a relaxing retreat for people who live with the person they are caring for. We feel respite for these original “essential workers” is more important than ever right now.

The complexities of our current project involve more construction than in the past, and we are excited to share that an anonymous donor has come forward to match up to $2,000 in donations dollar for dollar until June 30th. Our nominated person, Dave Hastings, who has been the sole caregiver for his wife Lori with muscular dystrophy for 36 years is beyond deserving and we can’t wait to complete his project! To do this, we need your help.

Many of you have mentioned to us that you want to be involved and we are so grateful. Your support right now would help us complete this project and share our message of highlighting the rewarding yet very difficult work caregivers provide. Below is a link to our website if you would like to learn more. We would love to hear from you!

Blessings to you and your family!
