We have been working on a special project (I feel like I say that every time, but this one IS really special!) and construction is kicking off in January, woo hoo! Covid has delayed things but that won’t kick our joy bucket over. We are all working together to be flexible, after all this is home design and it should be fun!
This is a large renovation with a heavy historic element, which we love. Weaving history into a home elevates the aesthetic, whether it’s a renovation or new construction. Follow along as we share #pontiacrevitalized !
Inspiration for this complete remodel and furnishings project has been really fun to explore. Nailing down our client’s style and melding that with the character of the home is such a fun part of the process. The floor plan is getting reworked and all the bathrooms and kitchen will be redone. We are keeping everything beautiful about this home intact, and there are plenty of great details!
Inspiration for #ponitacrevitalized
A few images that have inspired the design direction for this home!
We love the existing dental molding on the exterior of the home and will be bringing that element inside, while also introducing white trim and a large checkerboard tile floor.
A reworked addition to the home will include an Orangery and we think vines in select areas could be beautiful.
Cabinetry inspired by furniture is always the ticket, we love the detailing on this piece.
Arches in the bathroom will tie into the existing details of the home!
We love working closely with our clients and the team through all the details on our projects. Completing a home top to bottom is where the joy is at for us, every detail matters!
A Few Before Photos
It’s hard to really appreciate a renovation project unless you see the before photos. The process can be compared to surgery, careful consideration of what stays and what is removed is flushed out in detail.
