What happens when you love your neighborhood and schools but don’t love your house? Renovate and create your dream home in your dream location. This family had roots in a well loved community and knew their 1950’s house had potential. The mid century modern bones were in desperate need of proper design intervention after years of partial diy projects that did not flatter  the home's original architecture. The task was to create a streamlined, highly functional home for two kids, and two working professional parents - that also felt like an oasis at the end of the day. A color palette that is calm, cool and collected; a kitchen designed for an avid cook and rooms that welcomed the many guests they entertained were incorporated. A newly developed floor plan, by Brad Douglas Design, opened up several of the smaller rooms to one another; while our  furniture layout, finishes and bespoke cabinetry created intimacy. This full gut renovation included brand new furniture, window treatments, lighting and art for each room for a post construction move in ready home.
